How to make choices between the two or even more?

This is what I want to share since long. As I have struggled years to make the right choice? But the answer is how?

I have spent several sleepless night. What if I would make wrong choices.

We know the famous quote that:

“ Whatever we are today because of choices we made in the past.”

I too read but didn’t understand it well. I read and inspired with this quote like every one.

But the question remain in my head. How to make the right one. I struggled and made several decisions which later on sucked me.

The truth is I have to except the consequences now. As the quote say. So I will share few things from my life. Bear patience and read it carefully. And it goes like this.

When I was in class 10th like every individual I have to choose which stream I want to go with. I wanted to pursue medical but my adviser told me to pursue engineering. As per their thinking. I ended up with that. Later on I found it was bad choice.

Somehow I did well in class 12^th and next wanted to pursue social studies but one my seniors said go with science as you have good marks in science. Again I ended with Maths(H) in Delhi University.

Now here is the twist. I got the chance to explore. Like what I want out of life. I did what I loved without effecting my studies much. I explored as much as I can.

How?

Now is the right answer. I did too much reading. Whenever I get in the doubt or have feeling to pursue my passion. I go to the inter-net and read as much as I can. I get the overall picture. Not whole but lot more than before. Flooded with tons of information. I know if I have to decide from the two or even more. I need information. If you get that information, You will be able to make choices easier.

Is the real problem of choosing solved? The right answer is NO. Lets dive into more complex problem. Lets see this.

When I was in college. I wanted to be film director, News anchor and writer, a true entrepreneur and family expect from me to be a Govt officer. So much confusion ya.

Ok.

Lets note down all these on a piece of paper. I did it. I analyzed and thinked several days. Those days I have no smart phone or good connection of Internet. That was frustrating for me. It was eating my time to decide sooner. Because my mind wasn’t in the mathematics I was pursuing. I wanted to be creater and impacter inside of my hurt. So I kept on reading and watching about them. I got the role model and true impacter in this society. The true game changer. Called entrepreneur. But having no resource. I lost in the jungle. When I thought to fix that and pursue this one. I lacked resources. I involved so much that I didn’t came out of my dream for long. I made several choices to pursue my passion of entrepreneurship. Only the thing I get was failure after failure. And finally dipped into fully depression and by the end lost the ability to act.

Have you observed why I was involved with entrepreneurship. Because I wanted to be like them. I read many many days about what I choose to become.

For this, Usually I go to the computer lab. Type my question on the google. I wanted to pursue MBA after graduation or Msc in maths or be an Film director or news anchor. Like that.

Take an example of MBA.

When I googled. What I found was.

There were advice like why you wanted to pursue it. Just make it clear. Is it sake of getting high perks or something else. Like this I get questions and I think myself. Why? Both pros and cons. Noted down on the paper. Thinked and moved on. In this way. Most of my time of class goes here for over a year. Just read a lot. Tons of information.

This helped me make better choices.

Still you face several situation. Where it is tough to make?

Like my parents wanted to see me as a Govt officer. But having impacter mindset I choose to be a writer and an entrepreneur. But that still hurts me. If I would be able to detail them and convince them that What I am doing is great. Just accept it.

This happen many times. Few people don’t accept it what you do. May be your parents or family or friends. This is because they don’t know what You want and what can be done out of that. You can achieve the success and earn well and do good things for the society from that position as well.

For them, it’s better to show result instead of convincing from time to time. If failed to do that. They will doubt and stop giving support.

Conclusion:

What you learnt is just dream about what you want from your life. This should be unconditional. If you decide to be the one. Go on the Internet or any mentor you have. Discuss with them in detail.

Make choices you want with enough information you acquired or till you satisfied with that. It may be time consuming. But choices should be made with better understanding of the things.

If you don’t know whether you are making the right choices. Its’ all the divine forces that are acting behind the scene. As there is nothing bad in this world. Everything happens with a reason. So lets accept it.

Lastly, sometimes it’s never ending process to decide which one. Just consult if possible. If not keep reading, you will get the answer one by one. May be it’s time consuming but you will get it. I got most of the answers which I had. So you will.
