Q. What is the difference between Enterpreneurship and business?

Many people think that both are same thing but these are two sides of a coin. There should be no doubt in that. I have met several people who treat both the term in the same manner. But there is huge difference between them. That is why I have taken into consideration to show that both has some meaning before calling the term .

Over the years, till I entered the world of business. I keep on reading and listening about the these two terms frequently. People have misunderstood the term enterpreneurship. That leads to calling everyone an enterpreneur. But they are not.

Now the question is how to define who is enterpreneur and who is business people. Business people actually talk more about Return on investment (ROI).

Do you know that enterpreneur are actually a business leader. There is no doubt about that.

But there is some traits and action that defines the gap between the two. I will tell you what are the traits of an enterpreneur. Which will make you clear why there is gap and I called it a difference.

The reasons are:-

1. Enterprenur is a risk taker. Achieve what other don’t beleive. The gut feeling you can say.

2. Enterprenur never ever depends on something will happen due to some force. They force the things to make it happen.

3. They are visionary and look upon what they want to achieve other than money, fame and business. Actually looking for the change, I can say. A revolutionary change which turns into huge success once succeeded. That turns their business into profitable one.

4. Enterprenuer does have quality of pure perseverance in the dark phase and good phase of their life.

5. Enterpreneur will never ever say I am going to give up. They will keep on finding the way to make it possible.

6. Enterpreneur are firm believer and follow their own gut and destiny. Takes advice from others frequently. Use that learning to convert their product/services successful.

7. Enterpreneur are game changer and outperform when people start saying this is not possible. Very difficult to be there. That’s where a enterpreneur takes it to new heights.

8. Enterpreneur has more focus on developing things which has impact on the lives of the people rather effect of what they invest(profit or loss).

9. Enterpreneur cry hard, face very high stress, have long sleepless night, financial insecurity many times, a hardship to survive in all the odd conditions.

10. Enterpreneur love what they do either they win/loose have little to no consequences. But do not left any stone unturned till the end.

11. Enterpreneur can work like 10-15 hours daily. Non-stop working.

These are few traits which defines an enterpreneur. This would be not enough to justify an enterpreneur. There are number of websites, magazines, and books dedicated to enterpreneur. So, go through possible one, which are accessible.

You will find the difference between the two in more detail. Business people never ever try to take risks rather avoid as much as they can . They all revolve around money. For them it’s all about money. Win the financial statement, everything is fine for them. This is what is business.

I have shared this because many people have invested their money and looking for return and they call themselves an enterpreneur. That hurts me, how they can do this and call themselves an enterpreneur? So, I thought Why not to share with people who loves to find, what is both term all about.
